Important Board Meeting – February 26, 2025

Hello Yacht Club residents,

Just a heads-up that the Board of Directors is having a meeting on February 26, 2025, at 7:00 PM. They’ll be discussing some important things that affect all of us and you’ll get to meet the 5 new board members, so here’s a quick rundown of what’s on the agenda:

What’s Being Discussed?

  • Getting Things Fixed & Updated: They’ll be talking about contracts for things like fixing the elevator, getting better internet for the building (replacing Breezeline), hiring a new lawyer, and adding more electric car chargers (Blink Chargers). They’re also looking into testing the pool deck and fixing the roof.
  • Making the Pool Area Better: The Board will decide if they should buy new furniture for the pool deck.
  • Improving the Rec Room: They’re planning to make the Rec Room nicer with new AC, lights, ceilings, paint, security cameras, and door fobs. They’ll also discuss getting a ping pong and pool table!
  • Keeping Us Safe: Security is a priority! They’ll be talking about different ways to control who comes in and out of the building, including facial recognition and phone access.
  • Money Matters: The Board will discuss hiring a company to check the building’s finances (an audit).
  • Reminders & Updates: They’ll give us a reminder about the building’s rules and guest policy. We’ll also get an update on the Deli.
