This time the Yacht Club at Portofino condo informed which will be the latest action plan to be followed by the City of Miami Beach. As new challenges have been noticed by the police department, various changes have been added to the current COVID-19 prevention plan followed by the city’s residents.

Hereafter is a list including the current and new rules to assure the public health:

1. SHORT-TERM RENTALS (less than 6 months) WILL BE PROHIBITED. Effective July 16th. The Portofino Yacht Club Condo is not allowing short-term rentals until further notice. 

2. Restaurants shall only offer outdoor on-site service only between 6 am to 10 pm.

3. The South of Fifth neighborhood has been assigned an additional officer to assist throughout the weekend.

4. 22 new police offices have been assigned to patrol the entertainment and residential areas of Miami Beach.

5. Loud music won’t be permitted. Live entertainment is prohibited.

6. Miami Beach Police Department will continue to enforce the City-wide curfew from 10 pm to 6 am.

7. Pick-ups are prohibited during the curfew hours.

After the City of Miami Beach announced the allowance to reopen fitness centers on June 8th, the Yacht Club at Portofino welcomes back to residents into the gorgeous gym facing the Miami Beach Marina that the building offers.

The Yacht Club is following all the proper social distancing guidance in all force. Hereafter are the rules and regulations to use the fitness center, until further notice:

1. The gym at the Yacht Club at Portofino will be open from 6 am to 8 pm. It will be close for sanitization from 1:pm to 3:00 pm.

2. Only for resident’s use.

3. Social distancing will be the Yacht Club at Portofino resident’s responsibility. There will be the first warning in case social distancing is not being followed on a first offer. The second offense will ban the resident from the gym.

4. A max. of 2 people at a time in the restrooms.

5. Sauna and showers at the Yacht Club at Portofino condo will remain closed.

2. Real Estate Agents at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– a 48-hour notice must be given to the management office at the Yacht Club at Portofino

– Real estate agents must register at the front desk

– Amenities cannot be shown and there is a maximum of 2 prospects

3. Fitness Center at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Will remain close until further notice

4. Contractors at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Will only have access from Monday – Friday from 9 am to 5 pm

– a 48-hour notice must be given to the management office at the Yacht Club at Portofino

– Will register at receiving and will access through the service elevator

5. Visitors at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Will only have access from 9 am to 9 pm

– The resident must meet the visitor in the lobby and escort to the unit via the service elevator.

6. Pool and BBQ at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Now open. Read rules and regulations here.

7. Tennis Court at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Open from 9 am-7 pm

– Reservations requested

8. Valet Parking at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo

– Valet will keep guiding visitors and real estate agents to an available vale spot

9. Package and food delivery at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Packages will be disinfected at the delivery table

– Residents will come down for pick up at the delivery table

10. Management office at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo:

– Entry by appointment only. There will be a limited amount of people at one time

The Yacht Club at Portofino Condo will continue to follow all the necessary protocols to curtail the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

   2. Contractors will have their temperature taken before accessing the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo.

   4. They will only be allowed to use the service elevator
   5. Only Monday-Friday from 9-5 pm.
   6. Contractors will be escorted by security to the unit and will be confined during work hours. The door will be disinfected after entrance and exit.
2. Move-ins/ Move outs:
   1. Notice of 72-hours most be sent to the front desk – frontdesk@90alton.com –
   2. Need approval of the Yacht Club at Portofino Management office.
3. Housekeepers:
   1. Notice of 72-hours most be sent to the front desk – frontdesk@90alton.com –
   2. Housekeepers will have their temperature taken before accessing the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo.
   3. The resident will have to come down to the lobby to escort the housekeeper through the service elevator at the Yacht Club Condo.
4. Tennis court:
   1. It will be open from 9:00 am -7:00 pm
   2. Only singles are allowed
   3. An appointment is mandatory via BuidingLink
5. Management office:
   1. The management office will be working from the Yacht Club at Portofino’s office
   2. Will only allow access by appointment
   3. Office staff will have their temperature taken before accessing the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo.
6. Receiving area:
   1. Residents will collect packages and food deliveries at the front desk
7. Front desk:
   1. The front desk at the Yacht Club at Portofino condo will keep the 6 feet cordoned off.
8. Elevators:
   1. Only one person or members of the same family will be allowed at a time.
9. Real Estate Agents:
   1. All real estate agents will have their temperature taken before accessing the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo.
   2. Notice of 72-hours most be sent to the front desk – frontdesk@90alton.com –
   3. A unit can only be shown to a maximum of 2 prospects at a time.

The Yacht Club at Portofino Condo management keeps trying to adapt to the new circumstances after COVID-19 and encourages its residents to follow the social distancing and stay at home city guidelines.

The Marquis Association Management and the Board of Directors at the Yacht Club Condo have taken this decision to avoid the unnecessary exposure of the management staff. However, they keep working as usual and are reachable 24/7 by way of email and/or phone. There are recurrent conference calls between the department leads, the board president, the management staff and the Marquis’ Director of Operations.

There is also an on-site team at the Yacht Club at Portofino Condo that is in constant contact with the management office and will follow directions for day to day operations or residents’ requests.
